Welcome to our New Site!!!
06/05/08 - Firstly congratulations to our new Skeggy Double Champion - Mr Derek Hawes. Derek drove a wheel perfect Feature event to take the title for the first time and after such a successful two-dayer he jumps from yellow to red for May. Another driver on the move up the grades is Anthony Masters. After such a tremendous start to his season he jumps from blue to superstar. He clinched the superstar status after taking five out of eight wins over the Skeggy speedweekend so the lights are very well deserved. Lots of other movers in the grades including members of Team Cannock as both Kev Wilton and Dave Benton will have to get the paint brush out before Kings Lynn as they will be gridding up amongst the reds tops. Well done to everyone who has moved up the charts - click here for a full run down.
Everyone who made the Monday event at Skeg was pleased to see Rod Webster back with us after his incident the previous day. After a short stay in hospital Rod was fit enough to return and although his weekend didn't quite go according to plan he has decided to remove his car from the for sale page and join us again soon, so great news from the McRebel camp!
I would also like to say a huge thank you to Amy Pearson (Team manager of the Passey camp!) for organising a fantastic surprise on Monday. Both Darren and myself are extremely grateful to her and all the Rebellers who were aparty to our presents and vouchers for the forthcoming arrival. We were both extremely touched and very appreciative of the gifts - thank you very, very much.

13/03/08 - This weekend will see our first four race format of 2008. We will run two Heats, a Feature Final and a Grand National. Points towards the Average Points Championship (and National Points when the series starts) will be calculated by dropping your lowest Heat or National score, therefore you must count your Feature Final score. The Grand National won't have a grid format it will be on a first come first served basis. We will try and line up as usual in the pit area prior to going on track in each grade but once called to get into your cars it will be the first driver in each grade who takes the pole position and so on. The Grand National will be fifteen laps, rolling start and every point scored from a Grand National this year will count towards the prestigious Nationals grid with the highest points scorer taking to the pole for the main event in October at Hednesford. For more details on our Season Opener click here.
11/03/08 - Every owner driver will receive important forms regarding Hednesford Hills Premier Pit Pass in the next few days. It is vital that you, the owner driver, takes time to complete this form and bring it with you on Sunday ready to have it stamped at Race Control and then they will issue your Premier Pit Pass. If you fail to bring this document you may not be allowed to race. If you are not racing this weekend but will be appearing at Hednesford this year, please fill out the form and keep it safe. I realise that everyone can do without more paperwork and form filling but this is unavoidable and needs to be done, so please as soon as it lands on your doormat - fill it in!

15/01/08 - Press Release from the Incarace Promotion.
Incarace under new ownership.
Stockcar Promoter Incarace confirmed today that ownership of the company will transfer to Deane Wood, owner of Spedeworth International, on 1st March 2008.
Incarace operates Short Circuit raceways in the Midlands: Birmingham Wheels, Hednesford Hills and Northampton International Raceways.
Incarace promoter Philip Bond feels it is time to retire:
“I have enjoyed almost every minute of the job, but time moves on and it is time for me to step back a bit from the frontline of Short Oval promotion.
Incarace will continue as a company, with key Staff such as Race Director Paul Gerrard, and Technical Director Mick Reece staying on. This will ensure a smooth transition.
The only difference will be that the three shareholders in the company, my wife Liz, Mark and I will no longer own the company”.
After 10 years in the sport Mark, Incarace MD, feels that it is an ideal opportunity for him to step down and pursue his other business interests.
The new owner will be Dean Wood, owner of Spedeworth International, the main promoters of Short Circuit racing in the South and East of the Country.
Dean will now control 9 tracks across the UK, and, while Incarace will continue to operate with separate offices and staff, there will be many advantages to the larger organisation.
Spedeworth/Incarace will be able to offer fantastic racing across some excellent raceways – and the new Incarace Fixture List will be finalised over the next few weeks.
Philip was instrumental in the creation of the sport´s governing body (ORCi) and after 35 years of active Promotion, he is looking forward to a more relaxing lifestyle!
“On a personal note to Drivers, we would like to thank you for your efforts and the entertainment you have provided for 1000s of fans over the past years. It has been a pleasure to have known so many of you.
As we enter a new era for the sport, I believe that Short Circuit racing I the Midlands will continue to go from strength to strength in the years to come.
